PJMJ Studios PJMJ Studios Project questionnaire

Let's build your website. First, tell me about you.

This is the part that makes your site actually sound like you, not like everyone else. Answer like you are talking to me across a table, and do not worry about getting the words perfect. That is my job. It saves as you go, so you can stop and come back whenever. Around ten to fifteen minutes.

01 / the basics

Who you are

Please add your business name.
e.g. We are a family run garage in Haywards Heath doing MOTs, servicing and repairs on all makes, with a courtesy car so you are never left stuck.
A sentence or two is plenty.A little more detail here, one or two full sentences.
Please add the contact details you want shown.
02 / who it is for

Your customer and the goal

e.g. Busy local homeowners who want a tradesperson who actually turns up and does it properly, not the cheapest quote on the street.
Picture one real person.Tell me a bit more about who they are.
Pick the one that matters most.
e.g. How much it costs, how quickly you can start, whether you are insured, and what happens if something goes wrong.
The questions you get asked over and over.A few more of the real questions you get.
03 / your voice

Your pitch and story

e.g. I make small businesses look like the best in town, so they win the customers they are quietly losing right now.
Say it how you would out loud.Give me the full version, not just a few words.
e.g. Twenty years on the tools not in an office. Same day callouts. And I give you a fixed price up front, never a nasty surprise at the end.
No need to name competitors.A little more, two or three real points.
e.g. I started this after fifteen years watching customers get overcharged and talked down to. I wanted to do it straight, explain things in plain English, and treat people the way I would want my own family treated.
This becomes your About page.Give the story a few real sentences, this is the heart of the site.
e.g. warm, confident, no-nonsense
Give me three words.
04 / services

What you offer

e.g. MOTs, thirty five pounds, while you wait. Full servicing from ninety pounds. Diagnostics, brakes, clutches, exhausts. Free courtesy car on any job over a day.
One line each is fine.List them out, a line or two per service.
05 / proof

Proof you are good

e.g. "Turned up on time, fixed it in an hour, half what I was quoted elsewhere." Dave, Burgess Hill. Copy them straight from Google or Facebook if that is easiest.
Optional, but this sells harder than anything else on the site.
e.g. Do you offer a guarantee? Yes, twelve months on all parts and labour.
Optional.
06 / look and feel

The look

e.g. I like deep greens and warm creams. Please, no bright blue, everyone in my trade uses it.
A quick note on colours you like and dislike.
e.g. paste the links, then a line each. "This one feels clean and premium." "I love how simple their booking is."
The why matters more than the which.Add a link or two and why you like them.
Optional.
07 / assets

Your images and logo

This is the one that makes or breaks how quickly your site goes live. Real photos of you, your work, your team and your space beat stock every time. Aim for at least eight good ones, taken in landscape if you can, decent quality. Build a Google Drive folder, drop them in, and share it to webdev@judepotter.net so I can get straight in.
A Drive link, or let me know you need one made.
Remember to share the folder to webdev@judepotter.net, otherwise I hit a locked door.
Paste your Drive folder link here.
08 / the technical bits

Tech and logistics

Let me know which.
Optional. This is your catch all.

A few answers still need filling in. I have scrolled you to the first one.

Got it. That is everything I need to start.

Thanks for taking the time. I will read through properly and be in touch shortly with next steps. If anything comes to you afterwards, just email me at webdev@judepotter.net.
